Pentax X70 is an ideal camera for close-up as well as distant shots. It packs a 24x optical zoom lens (26-624mm equiv) with wide-angle to super-telephoto coverage housed in a highly portable, compact and lightweight body. It also has a 12 megapixels CCD image sensor which can capture large, detailed images. Furthermore, you have a choice of composing your images with either the high-contrast 2.7-inch LCD or the built-in electronic viewfinder for easy shooting in any situation. The X70 boasts three Shake Reduction technologies to reduce camera shake and blurring of the subject. The X70 also features Fast Face Detection and Super Macro mode. The Face Detection can quickly and automatically see up to 32 faces in 0.03 seconds. With Super Macro mode the X70 brings out the details in even the smallest subjects as close as 1 cm from the lens.
