Canon Lithium-Ion LP-E6 Battery Pack for 5D Mark II/III
The Canon Lithium-Ion LP-E6 Rechargeable Battery is a compatible rechargeable battery for the Canon EOS 5D Mark II. Sharing a similar size and body as Canon?fs long-running BP-511 series battery, the lithium-ion LP-E6 battery pack is approximately 30% more powerful than the previous BP-511A, with 1800 milliamp-hours capacity vs. 1390 mAh for the previous generation BP-511A. The LP-E6 powers the EOS 5D Mark II for 850 shots at normal temperatures based on CIPA-compliant tests performed at Canon Inc. When the battery is used with the EOS 5D Mark II, both the viewfinder and top LCD panel on the EOS 5D Mark II display a full-time, six-stage icon to give a good approximation of remaining battery power. A quick trip to the Set-up Menu can call-up a detailed display that gives the critical photographer extremely precise information regarding available battery power in the LP-E6 battery pack currently installed in the camera, such as the charge remaining, shots taken and battery performance.>>> Keep Reading <<<
